Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a window that can support the unit's weight and has a nearby electrical outlet. Ensure proper clearance around the unit.
- Prepare Window Area: Clean the window sill and remove any obstructions. Measure the window opening to ensure proper fit.
- Install Mounting Brackets: Secure the mounting brackets to the window sill according to the provided instructions.
- Place Air Conditioner: Carefully lift and place the air conditioner unit onto the mounting brackets, ensuring it's centered and level.
- Extend Side Panels: Extend the side panels to fill the window opening gaps and secure them in place.
- Seal Gaps: Use the provided foam insulation strips to seal any gaps between the unit and window frame to prevent air leaks.
- Electrical Connection: Plug into a dedicated 115V, 15A grounded outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
- Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test all functions including cooling, fan speeds, and thermostat settings.
