Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Level
  • Tape measure
  • Drill with bits
  • Utility knife
  • Saw (if cutting window frame)

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a window that can support the unit's weight and has a nearby electrical outlet. Ensure proper clearance around the unit.
  2. Prepare Window Area: Clean the window sill and remove any obstructions. Measure the window opening to ensure proper fit.
  3. Install Mounting Brackets: Secure the mounting brackets to the window sill according to the provided instructions.
  4. Place Air Conditioner: Carefully lift and place the air conditioner unit onto the mounting brackets, ensuring it's centered and level.
  5. Extend Side Panels: Extend the side panels to fill the window opening gaps and secure them in place.
  6. Seal Gaps: Use the provided foam insulation strips to seal any gaps between the unit and window frame to prevent air leaks.
  7. Electrical Connection: Plug into a dedicated 115V, 15A grounded outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
  8. Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test all functions including cooling, fan speeds, and thermostat settings.
Warning: Installation should be performed by two people due to the weight of the unit. Ensure proper support to prevent injury or damage.
