Remote Control Layout

Basic Operation Guide
Initial Setup
Insert two AAA batteries observing correct polarity. The remote will beep and display will illuminate briefly. Point remote at AC unit within 8 meters.
Power On/Off
Press the Power button to turn the air conditioner ON. Press again to turn OFF. Unit will beep to confirm command reception.
Mode Selection
Press Mode button to cycle through: Auto (A) → Cool (❄) → Dry (💧) → Fan (🌀) → Heat (☀). Current mode displays on remote screen.
Temperature Adjustment
Use ▲ (Up) and ▼ (Down) buttons to set desired temperature between 16°C (61°F) and 30°C (86°F). Temperature displays in Celsius or Fahrenheit.
Fan Speed Control
Press Fan button to cycle through: Auto → Low → Medium → High → Turbo. Turbo provides maximum airflow for quick temperature changes.
Swing Function
Press Swing button to activate automatic vertical air swing. Press again to stop at desired position. Some models support horizontal swing with separate button.
LED Indicator Meanings
Green Light
Steady: Command successfully transmitted
Blinking: Low battery warning
Red Light
Steady: Remote in programming mode
Blinking: Error detected, check manual
Blue Light
Steady: Turbo mode active
Blinking: Timer function activated
Orange Light
Steady: Sleep mode active
Blinking: Filter cleaning reminder
All Lights Blinking
Reset required or major error
Remove batteries for 1 minute then reinsert
No Lights
Check battery installation
Replace batteries if older than 12 months
Advanced Functions
Timer Programming
- Press Timer button once for ON timer, twice for OFF timer.
- Use ▲/▼ buttons to set time (increments of 30 minutes up to 24 hours).
- Press Timer again to confirm. Timer icon will blink on display.
- To cancel timer, press Timer button until icon disappears.
Sleep Mode Operation
- Press Sleep button to activate energy-saving sleep mode.
- Temperature automatically adjusts ±1°C every hour for comfort.
- Fan speed reduces to minimum after 30 minutes.
- Display lights dim after 10 seconds to avoid disturbance.
- Sleep mode automatically turns off after 8 hours.
Turbo/Quick Cool Function
Filter Reset Function
When Filter indicator lights, press and hold Filter button for 3 seconds to reset the filter timer. Clean or replace air filter as recommended in main unit manual.
Temperature Unit Conversion
To switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit: Press and hold both ▲ and ▼ buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds until display changes.
Troubleshooting

Error Codes on Remote Display
- E1: Communication error with AC unit - Reposition remote closer to unit
- E2: Temperature sensor error - Contact service center
- E3: Memory error - Reset remote (remove batteries for 5 minutes)
- E4: Button error - Clean buttons, ensure not stuck
- E5: Battery error - Replace both batteries with new ones
- E6: Signal transmission error - Check for infrared interference
Universal Remote Programming
- Turn on the air conditioner manually using unit buttons.
- Point remote at AC unit and press and hold SET button for 3 seconds.
- Enter 4-digit code for your Hisense model (see code list in full manual).
- Press Power button. If AC turns off, programming is successful.
- Test all functions. If not working, repeat with alternative code.

Battery Replacement Guide
- Slide open battery compartment on back of remote.
- Remove old batteries observing correct polarity orientation.
- Insert two new AAA alkaline batteries (1.5V each).
- Close battery compartment securely.
- Test remote operation. Reset may be required after battery change.
