Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Drill with hole saw attachment
- Level
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Adjustable wrench
- Tape measure
- Vacuum pump and gauge manifold
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper wall support, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, with adequate clearance for airflow.
- Install Mounting Plate: Secure the mounting plate to the wall using appropriate anchors and ensure it is perfectly level.
- Create Wall Opening: Drill a hole through the wall for refrigerant lines, drain hose, and electrical connections.
- Connect Refrigerant Lines: Connect the pre-charged refrigerant lines between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring tight connections.
- Connect Drain Hose: Route the condensate drain hose to proper drainage with a downward slope to prevent water accumulation.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a dedicated 220-240V, 50Hz circuit with proper grounding. Follow local electrical codes.
- Vacuum and Test: Evacuate air from refrigerant lines using a vacuum pump, then release refrigerant charge and test system operation.
- Final Check: Secure all connections, check for leaks, and verify proper cooling and heating functions.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit won't turn on | Power outage, circuit breaker tripped, remote battery dead | Check power supply, reset circuit breaker, replace remote batteries |
| Poor cooling/heating | Dirty filters, blocked airflow, incorrect temperature setting | Clean filters, clear obstructions, set appropriate temperature |
| Water leaking indoors | Clogged drain pipe, improper installation slope | Clear drain pipe, ensure proper downward slope of drain hose |
| Unusual noises | Loose parts, debris in fan, ice buildup | Tighten components, clean fan blades, check for ice formation |
| Frozen evaporator coil | Dirty filters, low refrigerant, restricted airflow | Clean filters, check for refrigerant leak, ensure proper airflow |
| Remote control not working | Dead batteries, signal obstruction, sensor issue | Replace batteries, clear line of sight, check sensor window |
