Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Drill with hole saw attachment
- Level
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Pipe cutter
- Vacuum pump
- Manifold gauge set
- Tape measure
- Torque wrench
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper wall support, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, with adequate clearance for airflow.
- Mount Indoor Unit Bracket: Securely mount the mounting bracket to the wall using appropriate anchors and ensure it is perfectly level.
- Drill Wall Hole: Drill a hole through the wall for refrigerant pipes, drain hose, and electrical wiring with proper slope for drainage.
- Install Outdoor Unit: Place outdoor unit on stable, level surface with proper vibration pads and adequate clearance for airflow and service access.
- Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring proper insulation and avoiding sharp bends.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to properly rated electrical supply with dedicated circuit breaker. Follow local electrical codes.
- Vacuum and Charge System: Evacuate air and moisture from refrigerant lines using vacuum pump, then charge with specified refrigerant amount.
- Test Run: Test all functions including cooling, heating, fan speeds, and thermostat operation.
