Tools Needed:
- Drill with masonry bits
- Level
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Pipe cutter
- Vacuum pump and gauges
- Tape measure
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location on a solid wall with proper clearance from obstructions and adequate drainage.
- Mount Indoor Unit Bracket: Securely mount the bracket to the wall using appropriate anchors for your wall type.
- Install Outdoor Unit: Place outdoor unit on a stable, level surface with proper ventilation clearance.
- Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring proper insulation.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 220-240V, 50Hz, dedicated circuit. Follow local electrical codes.
- Connect Drain Hose: Route the condensate drain hose to proper drainage with a downward slope.
- Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate air from refrigerant lines and charge with specified refrigerant amount.
- Test Run: Test all functions including cooling, heating, and fan modes.
