Step-by-Step Installation
- Site Selection: Choose appropriate locations for indoor and outdoor units considering airflow, drainage, and service access.
- Ductwork Installation: Install properly sized ductwork with adequate insulation to prevent energy loss and condensation.
- Mounting Outdoor Unit: Install outdoor unit on stable, level surface with proper clearance for airflow and maintenance.
- Refrigerant Piping: Connect refrigerant lines between indoor and outdoor units using proper brazing techniques and nitrogen purging.
- Electrical Connections: Connect to dedicated circuit with proper grounding according to local electrical codes.
- Drainage System: Install condensate drain line with proper slope and trap to ensure effective water removal.
- System Evacuation: Evacuate system to remove moisture and non-condensables before charging with refrigerant.
- Commissioning Test: Test all functions including cooling, heating, fan speeds, and thermostat operation.
