Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Drill with hole saw attachment
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Adjustable wrench
  • Vacuum pump and gauge manifold
  • Tape measure

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location on a solid wall with proper clearance from obstructions, at least 15cm from ceiling and 100cm from corners.
  2. Mount Installation Plate: Secure the mounting plate to the wall using appropriate anchors and ensure it is perfectly level.
  3. Drill Wall Hole: Drill a hole through the wall for refrigerant piping, drain hose, and electrical connections.
  4. Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect indoor and outdoor units with flare connections, ensuring proper insulation on pipes.
  5. Connect Drain Hose: Route the drain hose with a downward slope to ensure proper drainage.
  6. Electrical Connection: Connect to a dedicated circuit with proper grounding according to local electrical codes.
  7. Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate air and moisture from refrigerant lines, then charge with specified refrigerant amount.
  8. Test Run: Test all functions including cooling, heating, fan speeds, and remote control operation.
Warning: Installation must be performed by a certified HVAC technician to ensure proper operation, safety, and maintain warranty coverage.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit won't start Power issue, remote control batteries dead Check power supply, replace remote batteries
Poor cooling/heating Dirty filters, low refrigerant, outdoor unit blocked Clean filters, check for refrigerant leak, clear outdoor unit
Water leaking indoors Clogged drain pipe, improper installation slope Clear drain pipe, ensure proper downward slope
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, ice buildup Tighten mounting, clear debris, check for ice formation
Foul odors Dirty filters, mold growth in drain pan Clean filters and drain pan, run fan mode to dry
Remote not working Battery issue, signal blocked, sensor problem Replace batteries, ensure line of sight, check sensor

Error Codes

  • CH/E0: Communication error - Check wiring between indoor/outdoor units
  • E1/E2: Temperature sensor error - Check indoor/outdoor sensors
  • E3: High pressure protection - Check for blocked condenser
  • E4: Low pressure protection - Check for refrigerant leak
  • E5/E6: Compressor error - Contact service center
  • E7: Fan motor error - Check indoor fan motor
  • E9: Water leakage detection - Check drain system
