Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Vacuum pump with gauge manifold
- Refrigerant charging scale
- Tubing cutter and flaring tool
- Torque wrench
- Level
- Drill with hole saw
- Leak detector
Step-by-Step Installation
- Select Installation Location: Choose a location with proper clearance (minimum 15cm from ceiling, 30cm from walls) on a solid wall that can support the unit's weight.
- Install Mounting Plate: Secure the mounting plate to the wall using appropriate anchors and ensure it is perfectly level.
- Drill Wall Hole: Drill a 70mm hole through the wall for refrigerant piping, drainage, and electrical connections.
- Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect indoor and outdoor units with copper pipes using flare connections. Ensure proper insulation on pipes.
- Electrical Connection: Connect power supply to dedicated circuit according to local electrical codes. Ground the unit properly.
- Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate the system using vacuum pump for at least 15 minutes, then charge with R410A refrigerant to specified weight.
- Test Operation: Test all functions including cooling, heating, fan speeds, and remote control operation.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit not turning on | Power issue, circuit breaker tripped, remote control batteries dead | Check power supply, reset circuit breaker, replace remote batteries |
| Poor cooling/heating | Dirty filters, blocked airflow, refrigerant leak, outdoor unit obstructed | Clean filters, clear obstructions, check for leaks, clear outdoor unit area |
| Water dripping indoors | Clogged drain pipe, improper installation slope, frozen evaporator | Clear drain pipe, ensure proper slope, check for ice formation |
| Unusual noises | Loose parts, debris in fan, vibrating pipes | Tighten mounting screws, clear debris, secure refrigerant pipes |
| Foul odors | Dirty filters, mold growth in drain pan | Clean or replace filters, clean drain pan and use anti-mold treatment |
| Remote not working | Dead batteries, signal obstruction, sensor issue | Replace batteries, ensure line of sight, check indoor unit sensor |
