Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Vacuum pump with gauge manifold
  • Refrigerant charging scale
  • Tubing cutter and flaring tool
  • Torque wrench
  • Level
  • Drill with hole saw
  • Leak detector

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Select Installation Location: Choose a location with proper clearance (minimum 15cm from ceiling, 30cm from walls) on a solid wall that can support the unit's weight.
  2. Install Mounting Plate: Secure the mounting plate to the wall using appropriate anchors and ensure it is perfectly level.
  3. Drill Wall Hole: Drill a 70mm hole through the wall for refrigerant piping, drainage, and electrical connections.
  4. Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect indoor and outdoor units with copper pipes using flare connections. Ensure proper insulation on pipes.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect power supply to dedicated circuit according to local electrical codes. Ground the unit properly.
  6. Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate the system using vacuum pump for at least 15 minutes, then charge with R410A refrigerant to specified weight.
  7. Test Operation: Test all functions including cooling, heating, fan speeds, and remote control operation.
Warning: Installation must be performed by certified HVAC technicians only. Improper installation may cause injury, damage, or void warranty.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit not turning on Power issue, circuit breaker tripped, remote control batteries dead Check power supply, reset circuit breaker, replace remote batteries
Poor cooling/heating Dirty filters, blocked airflow, refrigerant leak, outdoor unit obstructed Clean filters, clear obstructions, check for leaks, clear outdoor unit area
Water dripping indoors Clogged drain pipe, improper installation slope, frozen evaporator Clear drain pipe, ensure proper slope, check for ice formation
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, vibrating pipes Tighten mounting screws, clear debris, secure refrigerant pipes
Foul odors Dirty filters, mold growth in drain pan Clean or replace filters, clean drain pan and use anti-mold treatment
Remote not working Dead batteries, signal obstruction, sensor issue Replace batteries, ensure line of sight, check indoor unit sensor
