Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Drill with hole saw attachment
  • Tape measure
  • Caulking gun

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location near an electrical outlet on an exterior wall, ensuring proper clearance from obstructions.
  2. Prepare Window Opening: Measure and prepare the window opening according to the unit's dimensions, ensuring a secure fit.
  3. Install Mounting Brackets: Secure the mounting brackets to the window sill or wall as specified in the installation manual.
  4. Place Air Conditioner: Carefully lift and place the air conditioner unit into the prepared opening, ensuring it sits level and secure.
  5. Seal Gaps: Use the provided foam seals or weather stripping to seal any gaps between the unit and window frame to prevent air leaks.
  6. Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 115V, 60Hz, 15A dedicated circuit. Do not use an extension cord.
  7. Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test all functions including cooling, fan speeds, and thermostat operation.
