Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pipe cutter
  • Vacuum pump
  • Manifold gauge

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper clearance (minimum 15cm from walls) and solid wall structure for mounting.
  2. Mount Indoor Unit: Install mounting plate securely on wall, ensuring it is perfectly level using a spirit level.
  3. Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring proper insulation and leak-free connections.
  4. Electrical Connection: Connect to a dedicated circuit with proper grounding (220-240V, 50Hz). Follow local electrical codes.
  5. Drainage Setup: Install drain hose with proper downward slope (minimum 1cm per meter) to ensure water drainage.
  6. Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate air and moisture from system using vacuum pump, then charge with specified refrigerant amount.
  7. Test Operation: Test all functions including cooling, heating, fan speeds, and remote control operation.
Warning: Installation must be performed by certified HVAC technicians. DIY installation voids warranty and may be dangerous.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit not turning on Power issue, circuit breaker tripped, remote battery dead Check power supply, reset circuit breaker, replace remote batteries
Poor cooling/heating Dirty filters, low refrigerant, outdoor unit blocked Clean filters, check for refrigerant leak, clear outdoor unit area
Water leaking indoors Clogged drain pipe, improper installation slope Clear drain pipe, ensure proper downward slope (1cm/m minimum)
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration Tighten all screws, clear debris, check mounting stability
Foul odors Dirty filters, mold growth in drain pan Clean filters, run Auto Clean function, clean drain pan
Remote not working Battery issue, signal obstruction, sensor problem Replace batteries, ensure line of sight, check remote sensor
