Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Drill with hole saw attachment
- Vacuum pump and manifold gauge
- Torque wrench
- Level
- Pipe cutter and flaring tool
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper wall support, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, with adequate clearance for airflow.
- Mount Indoor Unit Bracket: Securely mount the wall bracket using appropriate wall anchors and ensure it is perfectly level.
- Drill Wall Hole: Drill a hole through the wall for refrigerant pipes, drain hose, and electrical wiring.
- Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring proper insulation and flare connections.
- Connect Drain Hose: Route the drain hose with a downward slope to ensure proper water drainage.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a dedicated circuit with proper grounding according to local electrical codes.
- Vacuum and Charge System: Evacuate air from refrigerant lines using a vacuum pump and charge with specified refrigerant amount.
- Test Run: Test all functions including cooling, heating, fan speeds, and remote control operation.
