Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Level
  • Tape measure
  • Drill with bits
  • Utility knife
  • Support bracket (included)

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a window that can support the weight of the unit and has access to a dedicated electrical outlet.
  2. Prepare Window Area: Clean the window sill and ensure it's level. Remove any obstacles that might interfere with installation.
  3. Install Support Bracket: Secure the metal support bracket to the window sill using provided screws, ensuring it's level.
  4. Mount Air Conditioner: Carefully lift the unit and place it on the support bracket, ensuring it sits securely.
  5. Extend Side Panels: Extend the side panels to fit your window width and secure them in place.
  6. Seal the Unit: Use the provided foam insulation strips to seal gaps between the unit and window frame.
  7. Electrical Connection: Plug into a dedicated 115V, 15A grounded outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
  8. Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test all functions including cooling, fan speeds, and ThinQ connectivity.
Warning: Installation should be performed by two people due to the weight of the unit. Ensure proper support to prevent injury or damage.
