Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Drill with bits
  • Level
  • Tape measure
  • Utility knife
  • Support bracket (if required)

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a window that can support the weight of the unit and is near an electrical outlet.
  2. Prepare Window Area: Clean the window sill and ensure it's level. Remove any obstacles that may interfere with installation.
  3. Install Support Bracket: If required, securely install the support bracket according to manufacturer instructions.
  4. Mount Side Panels: Adjust side panels to fit your window width and secure them in place.
  5. Place Air Conditioner: Carefully lift and place the air conditioner in the window opening, ensuring it's level.
  6. Secure the Unit: Extend the side panels and secure them to the window frame. Lock the window sash in place.
  7. Seal Gaps: Use foam insulation strips to seal any gaps between the unit and window frame.
  8. Electrical Connection: Plug into a dedicated 115V, 15A grounded outlet. Do not use extension cords.
  9. Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test all functions including cooling, fan speeds, and thermostat.
Warning: Installation should be performed by two people. Ensure proper support to prevent falling. All electrical connections must comply with local codes.

Troubleshooting
