Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit not turning on Power outage, tripped circuit breaker, faulty outlet Check power supply, reset circuit breaker, test outlet with another device
Poor cooling performance Dirty filters, blocked airflow, low refrigerant Clean filters, clear obstructions, contact service for refrigerant check
Water leaking inside room Clogged drain line, improper installation angle Clear drain line, ensure unit is tilted slightly outward
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, worn bearings Tighten mounting hardware, clear debris, contact service
Remote control not working Dead batteries, signal obstruction, remote damage Replace batteries, ensure line of sight, check remote functionality
Unit freezing up Dirty filters, low airflow, low outdoor temperature Clean filters, check airflow, avoid use in very cold conditions
