Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit won't start | Power issue, remote control batteries dead, circuit breaker tripped | Check power supply, replace remote batteries, reset circuit breaker |
| Poor cooling/heating | Dirty filters, low refrigerant, outdoor unit blocked | Clean filters, check for refrigerant leaks, clear outdoor unit area |
| Water dripping indoors | Clogged drain pipe, improper installation slope | Clear drain pipe, ensure proper drainage slope |
| Unusual noises | Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration | Tighten all fasteners, clear debris, check mounting stability |
| Remote not working | Batteries dead, signal blocked, sensor issue | Replace batteries, ensure line of sight, check indoor unit sensor |
| Frequent cycling | Dirty filters, thermostat location, oversized unit | Clean filters, relocate thermostat if near heat source, consult technician |
