Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pipe cutter
  • Vacuum pump
  • Manifold gauge
  • Torque wrench

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Select Installation Location: Choose a location with proper clearance (at least 15cm from walls and ceilings) and adequate structural support.
  2. Mount Indoor Unit: Install mounting plate securely to wall, ensuring it is perfectly level using a spirit level.
  3. Install Outdoor Unit: Place outdoor unit on stable, level surface with proper vibration isolation and adequate airflow clearance.
  4. Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring proper insulation and leak-free connections.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect power cables according to local electrical codes. Ensure proper grounding and correct voltage supply.
  6. Connect Drain Pipe: Install drain pipe with proper slope (minimum 1/100 gradient) to ensure proper condensation drainage.
  7. Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate air and moisture from refrigerant lines using vacuum pump, then charge with specified refrigerant amount.
  8. Test Operation: Test all functions including cooling, heating, fan speeds, and remote control operation.
Warning: Installation must be performed by certified HVAC technicians. Improper installation may void warranty and cause safety hazards.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit not starting Power issue, remote control batteries, circuit breaker Check power supply, replace remote batteries, reset circuit breaker
Poor cooling/heating Dirty filters, low refrigerant, blocked airflow Clean filters, check refrigerant charge, clear obstructions
Water leakage Clogged drain pipe, improper installation slope Clean drain pipe, ensure proper drainage slope
Unusual noises Loose parts, foreign objects, fan issues Tighten components, remove obstructions, check fan motor
Remote not working Dead batteries, signal obstruction, sensor issue Replace batteries, ensure line of sight, check sensor
Foul odors Dirty filters, mold growth in unit Clean filters, use anti-bacterial treatment
