Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Drill with hole saw attachment
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Level
  • Tape measure
  • Adjustable wrench
  • Vacuum cleaner

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location near electrical outlet, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, with proper wall support.
  2. Prepare Wall Opening: Cut a hole in the wall according to dimensions specified in the installation template.
  3. Install Mounting Plate: Secure the mounting plate to the wall using appropriate screws for your wall type.
  4. Connect Drainage: Connect the drain hose to the indoor unit and ensure proper downward slope for water drainage.
  5. Connect Electrical: Connect to a dedicated 115V, 15A grounded electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords.
  6. Seal Gaps: Use foam insulation strips to seal gaps between the unit and wall opening to prevent air leaks.
  7. Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test cooling, heating (if applicable), and fan functions to ensure proper operation.
