Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Level
  • Tape measure
  • Drill (if needed for mounting)
  • Support bracket (for larger windows)

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a window that can support the unit's weight and has access to a dedicated 115V electrical outlet.
  2. Prepare the Window: Clean the window sill and ensure it's level. Remove any obstacles from the installation area.
  3. Install Mounting Brackets: Secure the side mounting brackets according to the window frame type (sash or casement).
  4. Place the Unit: Carefully lift the air conditioner into the window opening with help from another person.
  5. Secure the Unit: Extend the side panels to fill the window gap and secure them with the provided screws.
  6. Seal the Gaps: Install the foam seals on both sides and top to prevent air leaks and insect entry.
  7. Electrical Connection: Plug into a dedicated 115V, 15A grounded outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
  8. Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test all functions including cooling, fan speeds, and thermostat control.
Warning: Installation should be performed by two adults. Ensure proper support for the unit to prevent falling hazards. Follow all local building codes.

Troubleshooting
