Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Air conditioner won't turn on | Power issue, thermostat setting, circuit breaker | Check power cord connection, ensure thermostat is set below room temperature, check circuit breaker |
| Poor cooling performance | Dirty filter, blocked airflow, room too large | Clean or replace filter, clear obstructions around unit, ensure room size matches capacity |
| Water leaking inside room | Unit not tilted properly, drain holes blocked | Tilt unit slightly backward (outside), clear drain holes of debris |
| Unusual noises | Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration | Tighten all screws and panels, clear debris from fan blades, check installation stability |
| Unit cycles on and off frequently | Dirty filter, thermostat issues, high outdoor temperature | Clean filter, check thermostat setting, normal in extreme heat conditions |
| Ice formation on coils | Dirty filter, low refrigerant, restricted airflow | Clean filter, contact service for refrigerant check, ensure proper airflow around unit |
Maintenance Schedule
