Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Air conditioner won't turn on Power issue, thermostat setting, circuit breaker Check power cord connection, ensure thermostat is set below room temperature, check circuit breaker
Poor cooling performance Dirty filter, blocked airflow, room too large Clean or replace filter, clear obstructions around unit, ensure room size matches capacity
Water leaking inside room Unit not tilted properly, drain holes blocked Tilt unit slightly backward (outside), clear drain holes of debris
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration Tighten all screws and panels, clear debris from fan blades, check installation stability
Unit cycles on and off frequently Dirty filter, thermostat issues, high outdoor temperature Clean filter, check thermostat setting, normal in extreme heat conditions
Ice formation on coils Dirty filter, low refrigerant, restricted airflow Clean filter, contact service for refrigerant check, ensure proper airflow around unit
