Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit not turning on | Power issue, circuit breaker tripped, timer set | Check power supply, reset circuit breaker, check timer settings |
| Poor cooling performance | Dirty filter, room too large, extreme outdoor temperature | Clean air filter, ensure proper room size, check outdoor temperature |
| Water leaking inside room | Unit not tilted properly, drain holes blocked | Ensure unit tilts slightly outward, clear drain holes |
| Unusual noises | Loose parts, debris in fan, improper installation | Check for loose screws, clear debris, verify proper installation |
| Unit cycles on and off frequently | Dirty filter, thermostat setting too high, room heat sources | Clean filter, lower thermostat setting, reduce room heat sources |
| Frozen coils | Dirty filter, low refrigerant, restricted airflow | Clean filter, contact service for refrigerant check, ensure proper airflow |
