Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Drill with hole saw attachment
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Level
  • Tape measure
  • Utility knife
  • Window mounting kit (included)

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a window that can support the unit's weight and is near an electrical outlet. Ensure proper clearance around the unit.
  2. Prepare Window Area: Clean the window sill and frame. Remove any obstacles that may interfere with installation.
  3. Install Mounting Brackets: Secure the mounting brackets to the window sill using provided screws, ensuring they are level.
  4. Place Air Conditioner: Carefully lift the air conditioner and place it on the mounting brackets. Ensure it sits securely and evenly.
  5. Extend Side Panels: Extend the side panels to fit the window width and secure them in place.
  6. Seal Gaps: Use the provided foam seals to close any gaps between the unit and window frame to prevent air leaks.
  7. Electrical Connection: Plug into a dedicated 115V, 15A grounded outlet. Do not use an extension cord or power strip.
  8. Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test all functions including cooling, fan speeds, and thermostat settings.
Warning: Installation should be performed by two people. Ensure proper support to prevent injury or damage. All electrical connections must comply with local codes.
