Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a window that can support the unit's weight and has access to a dedicated electrical outlet.
- Prepare the Window: Clean the window sill and remove any obstructions. Ensure the window opens and closes properly.
- Install Mounting Brackets: Attach the side mounting brackets to the air conditioner chassis using provided screws.
- Position the Unit: Carefully lift the unit and place it in the window opening, ensuring it sits level on the window sill.
- Secure the Unit: Extend the side panels to fill the window gap and secure them in place. Install the locking bracket to prevent lifting.
- Seal the Gaps: Apply the provided foam insulation strips to seal gaps between the unit and window frame to prevent air leaks.
- Electrical Connection: Plug into a dedicated 115V, 15A grounded outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
- Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test all functions including cooling, fan speeds, and thermostat settings.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit won't turn on | Power issue, circuit breaker tripped, timer set | Check power cord connection, reset circuit breaker, check timer settings |
| Poor cooling performance | Dirty filter, blocked airflow, incorrect temperature setting | Clean filter, clear obstructions, set lower temperature |
| Water leaking inside | Unit not tilted properly, drain holes blocked | Ensure unit tilts slightly outward, clear drain holes |
| Unusual noises | Loose parts, debris in fan, improper installation | Tighten all screws, clear debris, check installation |
| Fan runs but no cooling | Thermostat setting too high, refrigerant issue | Lower thermostat setting, contact service if persists |
| Ice formation on coils | Dirty filter, low refrigerant, restricted airflow | Clean filter, ensure proper airflow, contact service |
