Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Drill with hole saw attachment
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Level
  • Tape measure
  • Utility knife
  • Caulking gun

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location near an electrical outlet, with proper wall support and away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
  2. Prepare Window Opening: Measure and prepare the window opening according to the unit dimensions. Ensure the window sill is clean and level.
  3. Install Mounting Brackets: Secure the mounting brackets to the window sill using provided screws, ensuring they are level and properly aligned.
  4. Place Air Conditioner: Carefully lift and place the air conditioner onto the mounting brackets, ensuring it sits securely and evenly.
  5. Extend Side Panels: Extend the side panels to fill the window opening gaps and secure them in place.
  6. Seal Gaps: Use weather stripping or foam insulation to seal any gaps between the unit and window frame to prevent air leaks.
  7. Electrical Connection: Plug into a dedicated 115V, 15A grounded outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
  8. Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test all functions including cooling, fan speeds, and thermostat settings.
Warning: Installation should be performed by two people. Ensure proper support and secure mounting to prevent falling hazards.
