Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Vacuum pump with gauge manifold
- Refrigerant charging scale
- Tubing cutter and flaring tool
- Torque wrench
- Level
- Drill with hole saw attachment
- Multimeter
Step-by-Step Installation
- Select Installation Location: Choose a location with proper clearances (minimum 30cm from ceiling, 15cm from walls) and adequate structural support.
- Mount Indoor Unit Bracket: Secure the mounting bracket to the wall using appropriate anchors and ensure it is perfectly level.
- Drill Wall Hole: Drill a 70mm diameter hole through the wall with a slight downward slope to the outside for drainage.
- Install Outdoor Unit: Place outdoor unit on stable platform with proper vibration isolation and minimum 50cm clearance on all sides.
- Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring proper insulation and flare connections.
- Connect Drainage Pipe: Install drainage pipe with continuous downward slope (minimum 1/100 gradient) to prevent water accumulation.
- Electrical Connection: Connect power cables according to wiring diagram, ensuring proper grounding and circuit protection.
- Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate system to 500 microns, hold for 15 minutes, then charge with specified refrigerant amount.
- Test Operation: Run complete test cycle checking cooling, heating, drainage, and remote control functions.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit not turning on | Power failure, circuit breaker tripped, remote control batteries dead | Check power supply, reset circuit breaker, replace remote batteries |
| Poor cooling/heating | Dirty filters, blocked airflow, refrigerant leak, outdoor unit obstructed | Clean filters, clear obstructions, check for leaks, ensure outdoor unit clearance |
| Water leaking indoors | Clogged drain pipe, improper installation slope, frozen evaporator | Clear drain line, ensure proper slope, check for ice formation |
| Unusual noises | Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration from improper mounting | Tighten all fasteners, clean fan blades, check mounting stability |
| Foul odors | Dirty filters, mold growth in drain pan, accumulated dust | Clean filters, use self-cleaning function, professional cleaning if needed |
| Remote not working | Battery issues, signal obstruction, sensor problems | Replace batteries, ensure line of sight, check indoor unit sensor |
