Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Drill with hole saw attachment
- Level
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Adjustable wrench
- Tape measure
- Vacuum pump and gauges
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper wall support, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, with adequate clearance for airflow.
- Install Mounting Bracket: Secure the mounting bracket to the wall using appropriate anchors and ensure it is perfectly level.
- Create Wall Opening: Drill a 3-inch hole through the wall for refrigerant lines and drainage hose.
- Connect Refrigerant Lines: Connect the copper refrigerant lines between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring proper insulation.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a dedicated 220V, 50Hz circuit with proper grounding. Follow local electrical codes.
- Drainage Setup: Install the drainage hose with a downward slope to ensure proper water drainage.
- Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate air from refrigerant lines using a vacuum pump and charge with specified refrigerant amount.
- Test Run: Test all functions including cooling, heating, fan modes, and remote control operation.
