Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Adjustable wrench
- Level
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Drill with hole saw
- Tape measure
- Vacuum pump
- Manifold gauge set
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper wall support, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, with adequate clearance for airflow.
- Install Mounting Plate: Secure the mounting plate to the wall using appropriate anchors and ensure it is perfectly level.
- Drill Wall Hole: Drill a 3-inch hole through the wall for refrigerant lines and drainage hose at a slight downward angle.
- Connect Refrigerant Lines: Connect the refrigerant lines between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring flare connections are tight and leak-free.
- Connect Drainage: Install the drainage hose with a continuous downward slope to ensure proper water drainage.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a dedicated 220V, 50Hz circuit with proper grounding. Follow local electrical codes.
- Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate the system using a vacuum pump for at least 15 minutes, then release the refrigerant charge.
- Test Operation: Test all functions including cooling, heating, fan speeds, and remote control operation.
