Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Drill with masonry bits
- Level
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Pipe cutter
- Vacuum pump and gauge manifold
- Tape measure
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location on an exterior wall with proper support, away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
- Mount Wall Bracket: Secure the mounting bracket to the wall using appropriate anchors and ensure it is perfectly level.
- Install Indoor Unit: Hang the indoor unit on the mounting bracket and secure it according to instructions.
- Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect the refrigerant pipes between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring proper insulation and flare connections.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a dedicated circuit with proper grounding according to local electrical codes.
- Connect Drain Hose: Route the condensate drain hose with a downward slope to ensure proper drainage.
- Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate the system using a vacuum pump and charge with refrigerant according to specifications.
- Test Run: Run the air conditioner through all modes to check for proper operation and cooling performance.
