Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Adjustable wrench
- Level
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Drill with hole saw attachment
- Vacuum pump and manifold gauge
- Tape measure
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper wall support, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, with adequate clearance for airflow.
- Install Mounting Plate: Secure the mounting plate to the wall using appropriate anchors and ensure it is perfectly level.
- Drill Wall Hole: Drill a hole through the wall for refrigerant lines, drain hose, and electrical wiring.
- Connect Refrigerant Lines: Connect the indoor and outdoor units with refrigerant lines, ensuring all connections are tight and properly insulated.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a dedicated circuit with proper grounding according to local electrical codes.
- Vacuum and Charge System: Evacuate air and moisture from the system using a vacuum pump, then charge with refrigerant according to specifications.
- Test Operation: Test all functions including cooling, heating, fan speeds, and remote control operation.

Key Features
U-Shape Design
Innovative U-shaped design allows the window to open and close normally while the unit remains installed, providing fresh air ventilation without removing the AC.
Inverter Technology
Advanced inverter compressor adjusts cooling/heating output to match room conditions, maintaining consistent temperature while reducing energy consumption by up to 35%.
Ultra-Quiet Operation
Operates as low as 19 dB in quiet mode - quieter than a library whisper - thanks to improved fan design and vibration reduction technology.
Wi-Fi Smart Control
Connect to your home Wi-Fi network and control your AC remotely using the Midea Air app on your smartphone, with voice control compatibility (Alexa/Google Assistant).
Auto-Clean Function
Automatically dries the indoor unit's heat exchanger after use to prevent mold and mildew growth, ensuring cleaner air and reducing maintenance needs.
Eco Mode
Intelligently adjusts temperature and fan speed to optimize energy efficiency while maintaining comfort, reducing power consumption during extended operation.
Operating Modes Explained
Cool Mode
Standard cooling operation with adjustable temperature and fan speed settings
Heat Mode
Reverse cycle heating for year-round comfort in moderate climates
Dry Mode
Dehumidification function that removes excess moisture without overcooling
Fan Mode
Circulates air without cooling or heating, with multiple speed options
Auto Mode
Automatically selects cooling or heating based on room temperature
Sleep Mode
Gradually adjusts temperature for optimal sleeping conditions while minimizing noise
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit not turning on | Power issue, circuit breaker tripped, remote control batteries dead | Check power supply, reset circuit breaker, replace remote batteries |
| Poor cooling/heating | Dirty filters, blocked airflow, refrigerant leak, outdoor unit obstructed | Clean filters, clear obstructions, check for leaks, ensure outdoor unit clearance |
| Water leaking indoors | Clogged drain line, improper installation slope, frozen evaporator | Clear drain line, ensure proper installation angle, check for ice buildup |
| Unusual noises | Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration from mounting | Tighten all screws, clear debris from fans, check mounting stability |
| Remote not working | Dead batteries, signal obstruction, sensor issue | Replace batteries, ensure line of sight, check remote sensor |
| Unit turns on/off frequently | Thermostat placement, dirty filters, incorrect sizing | Relocate thermostat if near heat source, clean filters, verify proper capacity |
