Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Drill with bits
  • Tape measure
  • Level
  • Utility knife
  • Support bracket (if required)

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a window that can support the unit's weight and has a nearby electrical outlet.
  2. Prepare the Window: Remove the window sash and clean the window sill thoroughly.
  3. Install Support Bracket: If required, install the support bracket according to manufacturer instructions.
  4. Position the Unit: Carefully lift the air conditioner into the window opening, ensuring it sits level on the sill.
  5. Extend Side Panels: Extend the side panels to fill the window opening completely.
  6. Secure the Unit: Use the provided screws to secure the unit to the window frame and sill.
  7. Seal Gaps: Apply weather stripping or foam insulation around gaps to prevent air leaks.
  8. Electrical Connection: Plug into a dedicated 115V, 15A grounded outlet. Do not use extension cords.
  9. Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test all functions including cooling, fan, and thermostat.
Warning: Installation should be performed by two people. Ensure proper support to prevent falling. All electrical connections must comply with local codes.

Troubleshooting
