Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Drill with hole saw attachment
- Level
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Adjustable wrench
- Tape measure
- Vacuum pump and gauge manifold
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper wall support, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, with adequate clearance for airflow.
- Install Mounting Bracket: Securely mount the indoor unit bracket to the wall using appropriate anchors for your wall type.
- Create Wall Opening: Drill a hole through the wall for refrigerant lines, drain hose, and electrical connections.
- Connect Refrigerant Lines: Connect the copper refrigerant lines between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring proper insulation.
- Connect Drain Hose: Route the condensate drain hose with a slight downward slope to ensure proper drainage.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a dedicated circuit with proper grounding according to local electrical codes.
- Vacuum and Charge System: Evacuate air from refrigerant lines using a vacuum pump before releasing refrigerant charge.
- Test Operation: Test all functions including cooling, heating, fan speeds, and remote control operation.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit not turning on | Power issue, circuit breaker tripped, remote control batteries dead | Check power supply, reset circuit breaker, replace remote batteries |
| Poor cooling/heating | Dirty filters, blocked airflow, refrigerant leak, outdoor unit obstructed | Clean filters, clear obstructions, check for leaks, clear area around outdoor unit |
| Water leaking indoors | Clogged drain pipe, improper installation slope, frozen evaporator | Clear drain pipe, ensure proper slope, check for ice buildup |
| Unusual noises | Loose parts, debris in fan, compressor issues | Tighten mounting hardware, clear debris from fans, contact service if compressor noise |
| Foul odors | Dirty filters, mold growth in drain pan, stagnant water | Clean/replace filters, clean drain pan, ensure proper drainage |
| Remote not working | Dead batteries, signal obstruction, sensor issues | Replace batteries, ensure clear line of sight, check indoor unit sensor |
