Wireless Remote Controller

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Wall anchors (if needed)
  • Level
  • Pencil
  • Drill (for wall mounting)

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location within 8 meters of the indoor unit, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  2. Prepare Mounting Surface: Ensure the wall is clean, dry, and can support the controller's weight.
  3. Mark Mounting Points: Use the mounting template to mark screw positions on the wall.
  4. Install Wall Anchors: If mounting on drywall, install appropriate wall anchors for secure mounting.
  5. Mount Controller Bracket: Secure the mounting bracket to the wall using provided screws.
  6. Connect Wiring: Connect the controller to the indoor unit following the wiring diagram (for wired models).
  7. Attach Controller: Snap the controller onto the mounting bracket until it clicks into place.
  8. Insert Batteries: For wireless models, insert 2 x AAA batteries into the battery compartment.
  9. Test Operation: Test all functions to ensure proper communication with the air conditioner.
Warning: Installation should be performed by qualified personnel. Ensure power is disconnected during installation to prevent electrical shock.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Controller not responding Dead batteries, out of range, blocked signal Replace batteries, move closer to indoor unit, ensure clear line of sight
