Tools Needed:

  • New AAA batteries (x2)
  • Small Phillips screwdriver
  • Clean cloth
  • AC unit model number

Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Battery Installation: Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote and insert two AAA batteries, observing correct polarity.
  2. Remote Pairing: Point the remote at your Mitsubishi air conditioner and press the "SET" button for 3 seconds until the indicator light flashes.
  3. Code Entry: Enter the 3-digit code for your specific Mitsubishi model (see code list in specifications section).
  4. Test Functions: Test basic functions like power on/off, temperature adjustment, and mode selection to ensure proper pairing.
  5. Remote Positioning: Place the remote in a location with clear line-of-sight to the AC unit's infrared receiver.

Troubleshooting

Error Indicators
