Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pipe cutter
  • Vacuum pump
  • Manifold gauge
  • Torque wrench

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper clearance (minimum 30cm from walls and ceilings) and strong wall support.
  2. Mount Indoor Unit Bracket: Securely mount the bracket to the wall using appropriate anchors for your wall type.
  3. Install Outdoor Unit: Place outdoor unit on a solid, level surface with proper ventilation clearance (minimum 50cm on all sides).
  4. Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring proper insulation and no kinks.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 220-240V, 50Hz power supply with dedicated circuit breaker.
  6. Connect Drain Hose: Route drain hose with proper downward slope to ensure complete drainage.
  7. Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate air and moisture from refrigerant lines, then charge with specified refrigerant amount.
  8. Test Run: Run the air conditioner through all modes to check for proper operation and cooling/heating performance.
Warning: Installation must be performed by a certified HVAC technician. DIY installation voids warranty and may be dangerous.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit won't start Power issue, remote control batteries dead, circuit breaker tripped Check power supply, replace remote batteries, reset circuit breaker
Poor cooling/heating Dirty filters, blocked airflow, refrigerant leak Clean filters, clear obstructions, contact service technician
Water leaking indoors Clogged drain pipe, improper installation slope Clear drain pipe, ensure proper downward slope
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, ice buildup Tighten components, clean unit, check for ice formation
Foul odor Dirty filters, mold growth in drain pan Clean filters and drain pan, use anti-bacterial treatment
Remote not working Dead batteries, signal obstruction, sensor issue Replace batteries, ensure line of sight, check sensor
