Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Vacuum pump with gauge manifold
- Torque wrench
- Flaring tool set
- Pipe cutter
- Level
- Drill with hole saw attachment
- Refrigerant scale
Step-by-Step Installation
- Select Installation Location: Choose a location for both indoor and outdoor units with proper clearances, away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
- Mount Indoor Unit: Install mounting plate on wall, ensuring it is level. Leave adequate space for air circulation and maintenance access.
- Install Outdoor Unit: Place on stable, level surface with proper vibration isolation pads. Maintain minimum clearances as specified.
- Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Cut and flare copper pipes to required length. Connect indoor and outdoor units ensuring airtight connections.
- Connect Drain Hose: Install drain hose with proper slope (minimum 1/100 gradient) to ensure condensate water drains effectively.
- Electrical Connection: Connect power supply according to local electrical codes. Ensure proper grounding and correct voltage (208-230V).
- Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate system using vacuum pump for minimum 30 minutes. Charge with specified amount of R410A refrigerant.
- Test Run: Perform test operation to check cooling/heating functions, thermostat accuracy, and drainage system.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit not turning on | Power outage, circuit breaker tripped, remote control batteries dead | Check power supply, reset circuit breaker, replace remote batteries |
| Poor cooling/heating | Dirty filters, blocked airflow, refrigerant leak, outdoor unit obstructed | Clean filters, clear obstructions, check for leaks, clear area around outdoor unit |
| Water leaking indoors | Clogged drain pipe, improper installation slope, frozen evaporator | Clear drain line, ensure proper slope, check for ice formation |
| Unusual noises | Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration from mounting | Tighten all components, clean fan blades, check mounting stability |
| Frozen coils | Dirty filters, low refrigerant, restricted airflow | Clean filters, check refrigerant charge, ensure proper airflow |
| Remote not working | Dead batteries, signal obstruction, sensor issues | Replace batteries, ensure line of sight, check remote sensor |
