Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Flathead screwdriver
  • Drill with appropriate bits
  • Level
  • Wire strippers
  • Voltage tester

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location on an interior wall, approximately 1.5 meters above floor level, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  2. Mounting Plate Installation: Secure the mounting plate to the wall using appropriate wall anchors for your wall type.
  3. Electrical Connection: Connect controller wires to the indoor unit terminal block according to wiring diagram. Ensure power is turned off during installation.
  4. Controller Mounting: Align the controller with the mounting plate and secure it in place.
  5. Battery Installation: For wireless models, install batteries (typically 2x AA) ensuring correct polarity.
  6. System Pairing: Follow pairing procedure to synchronize controller with indoor/outdoor units as per model requirements.
  7. Function Test: Test all controller functions including temperature control, mode selection, and fan speed adjustment.
Warning: Installation must be performed by qualified HVAC technicians in accordance with local electrical codes and regulations.
