Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pipe cutter
  • Vacuum pump
  • Manifold gauge set

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper clearance for airflow and service access, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  2. Mount Indoor Unit: Securely mount the indoor unit on a solid wall using the provided mounting plate, ensuring it's level.
  3. Install Outdoor Unit: Place outdoor unit on a stable, level surface with proper vibration isolation and adequate airflow clearance.
  4. Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring proper insulation and leak-free connections.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 230V, 50Hz power supply according to UK wiring regulations.
  6. Connect Drain Hose: Install drain hose with proper downward slope to ensure condensate water drainage.
  7. Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate the system using a vacuum pump and charge with the specified amount of refrigerant.
  8. Test Run: Perform a complete system test to check cooling, heating, and all operational modes.
Warning: Installation must be performed by a qualified F-Gas certified engineer to ensure compliance with UK regulations and maintain warranty coverage.

Key Features

Inverter Technology

Advanced DC inverter technology provides precise temperature control, rapid cooling/heating, and significant energy savings compared to conventional systems.

R32 Refrigerant

Uses environmentally friendly R32 refrigerant with lower global warming potential (GWP) and higher energy efficiency than previous refrigerants.

3D i-see Sensor

Intelligent sensor scans the room and detects the location of people, automatically adjusting airflow direction for optimal comfort.

Wi-Fi Control

Built-in Wi-Fi enables remote control via smartphone app, allowing scheduling, monitoring, and control from anywhere.

Eco-friendly Operation

Eco mode, timer functions, and motion sensor combine to reduce energy consumption when rooms are unoccupied.

Quiet Operation

Specialised fan design and sound-dampening materials ensure whisper-quiet operation as low as 19dB in sleep mode.

Operating Modes Explained

Auto Mode

Intelligently switches between cooling and heating based on room temperature

Eco Mode

Reduces energy consumption while maintaining comfort levels

Powerful Mode

Maximum capacity operation for rapid temperature adjustment

Sleep Mode

Gradually adjusts temperature and reduces fan speed for comfortable sleeping

Dry Mode

Reduces humidity without significant temperature change

Fan Only

Circulates air without heating or cooling

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit not starting Power issue, remote control batteries dead, safety lock active Check power supply, replace remote batteries, check safety lock
Poor cooling/heating Dirty filters, blocked airflow, incorrect temperature setting Clean filters, clear obstructions, set appropriate temperature
Water dripping indoors Clogged drain pipe, improper installation slope Clear drain pipe, ensure proper downward slope
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, ice formation Tighten components, clean unit, check for ice buildup
Foul odours Dirty filters, mould growth in drain pan Clean filters and drain pan, use anti-bacterial treatment
Remote not working Dead batteries, signal obstruction, sensor issue Replace batteries, ensure line of sight, check sensor

Error Codes
