Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Refrigeration manifold gauge set
  • Vacuum pump
  • Torque wrench
  • Flaring tool
  • Tube cutter
  • Multimeter
  • Level

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Site Preparation: Select installation location with proper clearances (minimum 30cm from walls, 50cm from ceilings). Ensure solid mounting surface.
  2. Outdoor Unit Placement: Install outdoor unit on vibration-absorbing pads. Ensure proper drainage and protection from direct sunlight.
  3. Indoor Unit Installation: Mount indoor units according to specified heights (typically 2.2-2.5m from floor). Ensure level installation.
  4. Refrigerant Piping: Connect refrigerant lines using flare connections. Apply nitrogen while brazing to prevent oxidation.
  5. Electrical Connections: Connect power supply (208-230V, 60Hz) following local electrical codes. Install dedicated circuit breaker.
  6. Communication Wiring: Connect communication cables between indoor and outdoor units using shielded twisted pair cables.
  7. Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate system to 500 microns minimum. Charge with specified amount of R410A refrigerant.
  8. System Test: Perform complete system test including cooling, heating, and all operational modes.
Warning: Installation must be performed by certified HVAC technicians. Improper installation may void warranty and create safety hazards.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
System won't start Power loss, circuit breaker tripped, remote control issue Check power supply, reset breaker, replace remote batteries
Poor cooling/heating Dirty filters, low refrigerant, blocked airflow Clean filters, check refrigerant charge, clear obstructions
Water leakage Clogged drain line, improper installation Clear drain line, ensure proper slope and insulation
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration Tighten mounting hardware, clean fan blades, check isolation
Ice formation Low airflow, low refrigerant, dirty coils Check filters, verify refrigerant charge, clean coils
Error code display System fault detected Refer to error code chart, contact service if needed

Common Error Codes

  • P1/P2: Power supply issue - Check voltage and connections
  • E1/E2: Communication error - Check wiring between units
  • H1/H2: High pressure fault - Check condenser, clean coils
  • L1/L2: Low pressure fault - Check refrigerant charge
  • F1/F2: Indoor unit sensor fault - Replace temperature sensor
  • U1/U2: Inverter fault - Contact service technician
  • J1/J2: Drain pump fault - Check drain system
