Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Vacuum pump with gauge manifold
- Refrigerant charging scale
- Flaring tool set
- Tubing cutter
- Torque wrench
- Multimeter
- Level
- Power drill
Step-by-Step Installation
- Select Installation Location: Choose a location with proper clearances, away from heat sources, and with adequate structural support for indoor and outdoor units.
- Mount Indoor Unit: Install mounting plate securely to wall, ensuring proper leveling for condensate drainage.
- Install Refrigerant Lines: Connect copper tubing between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring proper insulation and avoiding sharp bends.
- Electrical Connections: Connect power wiring according to local electrical codes and unit specifications. Include proper disconnect and circuit protection.
- Communication Wiring: Connect control wiring between indoor and outdoor units following manufacturer's wiring diagram.
- Drainage System: Install condensate drain line with proper slope and termination according to local plumbing codes.
- Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate system to proper vacuum level, then charge with specified refrigerant amount using weighing scale.
- System Test: Perform complete system test including cooling, heating, and all operational modes.
