Wall Mounted Series

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Vacuum pump with gauge manifold
  • Refrigerant charging scale
  • Flaring tool set
  • Tubing cutter
  • Torque wrench
  • Multimeter
  • Level
  • Power drill

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Select Installation Location: Choose a location with proper clearances, away from heat sources, and with adequate structural support for indoor and outdoor units.
  2. Mount Indoor Unit: Install mounting plate securely to wall, ensuring proper leveling for condensate drainage.
  3. Install Refrigerant Lines: Connect copper tubing between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring proper insulation and avoiding sharp bends.
  4. Electrical Connections: Connect power wiring according to local electrical codes and unit specifications. Include proper disconnect and circuit protection.
  5. Communication Wiring: Connect control wiring between indoor and outdoor units following manufacturer's wiring diagram.
  6. Drainage System: Install condensate drain line with proper slope and termination according to local plumbing codes.
  7. Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate system to proper vacuum level, then charge with specified refrigerant amount using weighing scale.
  8. System Test: Perform complete system test including cooling, heating, and all operational modes.
Warning: Installation must be performed by certified HVAC technicians only. Improper installation may void warranty and create safety hazards.

Troubleshooting
