Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Vacuum pump with gauge manifold
- Refrigerant charging scale
- Torque wrench set
- Flaring tool kit
- Pipe cutter and reamer
- Multimeter
- Level
- Drill with core bit
Step-by-Step Installation
- Select Installation Location: Choose a location with proper clearances (minimum 30cm from ceiling, 15cm from walls), away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
- Mount Indoor Unit Bracket: Securely mount the mounting plate to the wall using appropriate anchors for wall type (concrete, brick, or drywall).
- Prepare Refrigerant Piping: Cut copper pipes to required length, deburr ends, and flare connections to proper specifications (45° flare angle).
- Connect Piping: Connect refrigerant pipes between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring all connections are tight and properly insulated.
- Electrical Connection: Connect power supply wiring according to local electrical codes. Use dedicated circuit with proper grounding.
- Connect Communication Cable: Run control wiring between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring proper separation from power cables.
- Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate system to 500 microns minimum, hold vacuum for 15 minutes, then charge with specified refrigerant amount.
- Test Operation: Test all functions including cooling, heating, fan speeds, and remote control operation.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit not starting | Power failure, circuit breaker tripped, remote control batteries dead | Check power supply, reset circuit breaker, replace remote batteries |
| Poor cooling/heating | Dirty filters, blocked airflow, refrigerant leak, outdoor unit obstructed | Clean filters, clear obstructions, check for leaks, clear outdoor unit area |
| Water dripping | Clogged drain pipe, improper installation slope, frozen evaporator | Clear drain pipe, ensure proper slope, check for ice formation |
| Unusual noises | Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration from mounting | Tighten all fasteners, clear debris, check mounting stability |
| Remote not working | Batteries dead, signal blocked, sensor window dirty | Replace batteries, ensure line of sight, clean sensor window |
| Error code displayed | System malfunction, sensor failure, communication error | Note error code and contact service technician |
Common Error Codes
- E0: Protection device activated - Check for obstructions and restart
- E1: Indoor PCB malfunction - Contact service center
