Wall Mounted Split System

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Vacuum pump with gauge manifold
  • Refrigerant charging scale
  • Tubing bender and flaring tool
  • Torque wrench
  • Multimeter
  • Level
  • Drill with hole saw

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Select Installation Location: Choose a location with proper clearances (minimum 30cm from ceiling, 15cm from walls) on a solid wall.
  2. Mount Indoor Unit Bracket: Securely mount the mounting plate to the wall using appropriate anchors for wall type.
  3. Drill Wall Hole: Drill a 70mm hole through the wall with a slight downward slope to the outside for drainage.
  4. Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring proper insulation on suction line.
  5. Connect Drain Hose: Route drain hose with continuous downward slope to proper drainage location.
  6. Electrical Connection: Connect to dedicated circuit with proper breaker size according to local electrical codes.
  7. Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate system to 500 microns minimum, then charge with specified refrigerant amount.
  8. Test Operation: Test all modes (cooling, heating, fan) and check for proper drainage and airflow.
Warning: Installation must be performed by certified HVAC technicians only. Improper installation may void warranty and cause safety hazards.

Key Features

Inverter Technology

Advanced DC inverter compressor adjusts speed to maintain precise temperature control, reducing energy consumption by up to 40% compared to conventional units.

3D i-See Sensor

Intelligent sensor detects human presence and movement, automatically directing airflow away from occupants for enhanced comfort while optimizing energy use.

Quiet Operation

Specialized sound-dampening materials and aerodynamic fan design deliver whisper-quiet operation as low as 19 dB in sleep mode.

Wide Temperature Range

Provides efficient heating operation down to -13°F (-25°C) and cooling operation up to 122°F (50°C) outdoor temperatures.

Wi-Fi Connectivity

Built-in Wi-Fi with smartphone app control allows remote operation, scheduling, and energy monitoring from anywhere.

Plasma Quad Filter

Four-stage filtration system removes dust, pollen, odors, and bacteria while inhibiting mold growth on the heat exchanger.

Operating Modes Explained

Auto Mode

Intelligently selects cooling or heating based on room temperature for optimal comfort

Econo Cool

Energy-saving cooling operation with slightly reduced capacity

Powerful Mode

Maximum capacity operation for rapid cooling or heating

Sleep Mode

Gradually adjusts temperature and reduces fan speed for undisturbed sleep

Dry Mode

Dehumidifies room without significant cooling for humid conditions

Fan Only

Circulates air without cooling or heating for ventilation

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit won't start Power issue, remote control batteries, circuit breaker Check power supply, replace remote batteries, reset circuit breaker
Poor cooling/heating Dirty filters, blocked airflow, low refrigerant Clean filters, clear obstructions, contact technician for refrigerant check
Water leakage Clogged drain line, improper installation slope Clear drain line, ensure proper downward slope of drain hose
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration Tighten mounting screws, clear debris, check installation stability
Remote not working Dead batteries, signal obstruction, distance Replace batteries, ensure line of sight, stay within 7m range
Ice formation Dirty filters, low refrigerant, faulty sensor Clean filters, contact technician for refrigerant/sensor check

Error Codes

  • P1/P2: Power supply issue - Check voltage and wiring
  • E1/E2: Communication error - Check wiring between indoor/outdoor units
  • F1/F2: Temperature sensor failure - Replace faulty sensor
  • H1/H2: Defrost operation - Normal during heating in cold conditions
  • J1/J2: Refrigerant issue - Check for leaks or overcharge
  • L1/L2: Fan motor issue - Check fan motor and wiring
