Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Drill with bits
  • Level
  • Tape measure
  • Utility knife
  • Support bracket (if required)

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a window that can support the unit's weight and has access to a dedicated electrical outlet.
  2. Prepare Window Area: Clean the window sill and ensure it's level. Remove any obstructions from the installation area.
  3. Install Support Bracket: For heavier units, install the support bracket according to manufacturer instructions.
  4. Mount Side Panels: Install the side panels to fill gaps between the unit and window frame.
  5. Place Air Conditioner: Carefully lift and place the unit in the window opening, ensuring it tilts slightly outward for proper drainage.
  6. Secure the Unit: Extend the window mounting panels and secure them to the window frame using provided screws.
  7. Seal Gaps: Use weather stripping to seal any gaps between the unit and window frame to prevent air leaks.
  8. Electrical Connection: Plug into a dedicated 115V, 15-amp grounded outlet. Do not use extension cords.
  9. Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test all functions including cooling, fan, and thermostat.
Warning: Installation should be performed by qualified personnel. Improper installation can cause water leakage, electrical shock, or unit failure.
