Button Layout & Functions

  1. Power Button: Turns the air conditioner ON and OFF.
  2. Mode Button: Cycles through Cool, Heat, Dry, Fan, and Auto modes.
  3. Temperature Buttons: Adjusts the desired temperature setting.
  4. Fan Speed Button: Controls fan speed (Auto, Low, Medium, High).
  5. Swing Button: Controls vertical and horizontal air flow direction.
  6. Timer Button: Sets ON and OFF timers for automatic operation.
  7. Sleep Mode: Optimizes temperature and fan speed for quiet nighttime operation.
  8. Turbo Button: Activates maximum cooling/heating power for rapid temperature change.
  9. Light Button: Controls remote backlight and unit display lights.
  10. Reset Button: Resets remote to factory default settings.
Important: Keep remote control away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and moisture. Do not drop or expose to extreme temperatures.

Step-by-Step Battery Installation

  1. Slide the battery cover on the back of the remote control to open.
  2. Insert two AAA batteries, observing correct polarity (+/- markings).
  3. Replace the battery cover securely until it clicks into place.
  4. Point the remote at the air conditioner and press any button to test.
  5. If remote doesn't work, remove and reinsert batteries, ensuring proper contact.
Battery Safety: Use only recommended battery types. Do not mix old and new batteries. Remove batteries if remote won't be used for extended periods.

Function Guide

Cool Mode

Standard cooling operation. Set desired temperature (16°C-30°C). The compressor runs to cool the room to the set temperature.

Heat Mode

Heating operation for models with heat pump. Set desired temperature (16°C-30°C). Unit will heat room to set temperature.

Dry Mode

Dehumidification function. Reduces humidity while maintaining comfortable temperature with minimal cooling.

Fan Mode

Circulates air without cooling or heating. Choose from Auto, Low, Medium, or High fan speeds.

Auto Mode

Intelligent mode that automatically selects Cool, Heat, or Fan based on room temperature to maintain comfort.

Sleep Mode

Gradually adjusts temperature and reduces fan speed for quiet, energy-efficient nighttime operation.

Advanced Functions

Turbo Function

Maximum cooling/heating power for rapid temperature adjustment. Automatically returns to normal after 30 minutes.

Timer Settings

Program ON/OFF times (1-24 hours). Unit will automatically start or stop at set times for energy savings.

Swing Control

Adjusts vertical/horizontal louvers for optimal air distribution. Can be set to automatic sweeping or fixed position.

Temperature Lock

Child lock function prevents accidental temperature changes. Press and hold Temp Up/Down for 5 seconds to activate.

Filter Reset

Resets filter cleaning reminder indicator after maintenance. Press and hold Fan Speed button for 3 seconds.

Remote Reset

Factory reset function. Remove batteries, press all buttons for 10 seconds, then reinsert batteries.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution

Error Indicators

  • No Display: Check/replace batteries, ensure battery orientation is correct
  • Flashing Display: Low battery warning - replace batteries immediately
  • Temp Flashing: Temperature sensor error - contact service center
  • Mode Flashing: Invalid mode selection for current conditions
  • Signal Not Sent: Point remote directly at AC receiver, reduce distance
  • All Buttons Locked: Child lock activated - press and hold Temp buttons for 5s

Order Guide

Remote Programming Instructions

  1. Turn on the air conditioner manually using the unit's power button.
  2. Point the remote at the AC unit from within 1 meter distance.
  3. Press and hold the "SET" or "CODE" button until the remote light blinks.
  4. Enter the 3-digit code for your Nasco model (see code list in manual).
  5. Press POWER button. If AC turns off, programming is successful.
  6. Test all functions to ensure proper operation.
