Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Level
  • Drill with appropriate bits
  • Tape measure
  • Wire strippers
  • Vacuum pump and gauges

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Select Installation Location: Choose a location with proper clearance (minimum 30cm from ceiling, 15cm from walls) and away from heat sources.
  2. Mount Wall Bracket: Secure the mounting bracket to the wall using appropriate anchors for your wall type.
  3. Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring proper insulation and leak-free connections.
  4. Electrical Connection: Connect power cables to the designated terminals following local electrical codes. Ensure proper grounding.
  5. Drainage Installation: Install drain hose with proper downward slope (minimum 1/100 gradient) to ensure water drainage.
  6. Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate air and moisture from refrigerant lines using vacuum pump, then charge with specified refrigerant amount.
  7. Test Operation: Power on the system and test all functions including cooling, heating, fan speeds, and remote control operation.
Warning: Installation must be performed by qualified HVAC technicians only. Improper installation may cause injury, damage, or void warranty.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit not turning on Power outage, circuit breaker tripped, remote battery dead Check power supply, reset circuit breaker, replace remote batteries
Not cooling/heating properly Dirty filters, blocked vents, incorrect temperature setting Clean filters, clear obstructions, set appropriate temperature
Water leaking indoors Clogged drain pipe, improper installation slope Clear drain pipe, ensure proper downward slope of drain hose
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration Tighten mounting, clear debris, check installation stability
Remote not working Dead batteries, signal obstruction, distance too far Replace batteries, ensure line of sight, stay within 7 meters
Frozen indoor unit Dirty filters, low refrigerant, fan malfunction Clean filters, call for service, check fan operation
