Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Vacuum pump with gauge manifold
  • Refrigerant charging scale
  • Tube cutter and flaring tool
  • Torque wrench
  • Leak detector
  • Multimeter

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Select Installation Location: Choose a location with proper clearance (minimum 30cm from walls and ceilings) and solid wall structure.
  2. Mount Indoor Unit: Install mounting plate securely on wall, ensuring proper leveling for condensate drainage.
  3. Install Outdoor Unit: Place on stable, level surface with proper vibration isolation and adequate airflow clearance.
  4. Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units using flare connections with proper torque specifications.
  5. Connect Electrical Wiring: Connect power cables and communication wires according to wiring diagram. Ensure proper grounding.
  6. Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate system to 500 microns minimum, then charge with specified amount of R32 refrigerant.
  7. Test Operation: Run system through all modes (cooling, heating, fan) to verify proper operation and check for leaks.
Warning: Installation must be performed by certified HVAC technicians only. R32 refrigerant requires special handling procedures.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit not turning on Power failure, circuit breaker tripped, remote battery dead Check power supply, reset breaker, replace remote batteries
Poor cooling/heating Dirty filters, low refrigerant, blocked airflow Clean filters, check for leaks, clear obstructions around units
Water dripping indoors Clogged drain pipe, improper installation angle Clear drain pipe, ensure proper slope for drainage
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration Tighten mounting, clean fan blades, check isolation
Foul odor Dirty filters, mold growth Clean filters, run self-clean cycle, use nanoe™ function
Remote not working Battery issue, signal obstruction, sensor problem Replace batteries, ensure line of sight, check sensor
