Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Vacuum pump with gauge manifold
  • Torque wrench set
  • Flaring tool kit
  • Leak detector
  • Level
  • Drill with hole saw

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Select Installation Location: Choose a location with proper wall support, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, with adequate clearance for airflow.
  2. Mount Indoor Unit Bracket: Securely mount the bracket to the wall using appropriate anchors, ensuring it is perfectly level.
  3. Install Outdoor Unit: Place outdoor unit on stable, level surface with proper vibration pads and sufficient clearance for ventilation.
  4. Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units using flare connections. Apply proper torque specifications.
  5. Electrical Connections: Connect power cables according to local electrical codes. Ensure proper grounding and circuit protection.
  6. Vacuum and Charge System: Evacuate the system to remove moisture and non-condensables, then charge with R32 refrigerant to specified weight.
  7. Leak Test and Commissioning: Perform thorough leak test, check drainage, and test all functions before finalizing installation.
Warning: R32 refrigerant installation requires certified technicians. Improper handling can be dangerous. Always follow local regulations and manufacturer guidelines.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit not starting Power issue, remote control batteries, circuit breaker Check power supply, replace remote batteries, reset circuit breaker
Poor cooling/heating Dirty filters, blocked airflow, incorrect temperature setting Clean filters, clear obstructions, set appropriate temperature
Water leakage Clogged drain pipe, improper installation, frozen evaporator Clear drain pipe, check installation angle, defrost unit
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration Tighten mounting, clear debris, check installation stability
Foul odors Dirty filters, mold growth, stagnant water Clean filters and indoor unit, run fan mode to dry
Remote not working Dead batteries, signal obstruction, sensor issue Replace batteries, ensure line of sight, check sensor
