Step-by-Step Installation
- Site Preparation: Select a location with proper clearance (minimum 24 inches on all sides) and solid foundation for outdoor unit.
- Mounting Indoor Unit: Install indoor unit on interior wall at least 7 feet from floor, ensuring proper drainage slope.
- Refrigerant Line Installation: Connect copper refrigerant lines between indoor and outdoor units using proper brazing techniques.
- Electrical Connections: Connect to dedicated 240V circuit with proper grounding. Follow local electrical codes.
- Drain Line Installation: Install condensate drain line with proper slope (1/4 inch per foot) and trap.
