Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a sturdy window that can support the unit's weight, near an electrical outlet, and with proper clearance for airflow.
- Prepare Window Area: Clean the window sill and ensure the area is free from debris. Install the window mounting bracket according to instructions.
- Install Side Panels: Place the adjustable side panels in the window opening to fill any gaps around the air conditioner.
- Position the Unit: Carefully lift the air conditioner and place it on the mounting bracket, ensuring it sits level and secure.
- Secure the Unit: Extend the side panels and secure them in place. Use the provided screws to fasten the unit to the window frame.
- Seal Gaps: Apply weather stripping around any gaps to prevent air leaks and improve efficiency.
- Electrical Connection: Plug into a dedicated 115V, 15A grounded outlet. Do not use an extension cord or power strip.
- Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test all functions including cooling, fan, and thermostat settings.
