Step-by-Step Installation
- Select Installation Location: Choose a location for both indoor and outdoor units with proper clearances and structural support.
- Mount Indoor Unit: Install mounting plate on wall, ensuring it's level and secure. Hang indoor unit on plate.
- Install Outdoor Unit: Place outdoor unit on stable, level surface with proper vibration isolation pads.
- Connect Refrigerant Lines: Run copper tubing between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring proper insulation on suction line.
- Electrical Connections: Connect power wiring to both units following local electrical codes and manufacturer specifications.
- Connect Control Wiring: Run communication wiring between indoor and outdoor units for proper system control.
- Vacuum and Charge System: Evacuate system to remove moisture and air, then charge with correct refrigerant type and amount.
- Test Operation: Run system through complete test sequence to verify proper cooling, heating, and airflow.
