Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Vacuum pump
  • Manifold gauge set
  • Torque wrench
  • Flaring tool
  • Tube cutter
  • Level
  • Drill with masonry bits

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Select Installation Location: Choose a location for both indoor and outdoor units with proper clearances and structural support.
  2. Mount Indoor Unit: Install mounting plate on wall, ensuring it's level and secure. Hang indoor unit on plate.
  3. Install Outdoor Unit: Place outdoor unit on stable, level surface with proper vibration isolation pads.
  4. Connect Refrigerant Lines: Run copper tubing between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring proper insulation on suction line.
  5. Electrical Connections: Connect power wiring to both units following local electrical codes and manufacturer specifications.
  6. Connect Control Wiring: Run communication wiring between indoor and outdoor units for proper system control.
  7. Vacuum and Charge System: Evacuate system to remove moisture and air, then charge with correct refrigerant type and amount.
  8. Test Operation: Run system through complete test sequence to verify proper cooling, heating, and airflow.
