Operating Modes

Cool Mode

Standard air conditioning mode that cools the room to your set temperature. The compressor runs until desired temperature is reached, then cycles on/off to maintain it.

Heat Mode

For heat pump models only. Reverses the refrigeration cycle to provide warm air. May have automatic defrost cycles in cold weather.

Dry Mode

Dehumidifies the air without significant cooling. Fan runs at low speed while compressor cycles to remove moisture. Ideal for humid days.

Fan Mode

Circulates air without cooling or heating. Compressor is off. Choose from multiple fan speeds for air circulation only.

Auto Mode

The unit automatically selects Cool, Heat, or Fan mode based on room temperature. Maintains room at approximately 24°C.

Sleep Mode

Gradually adjusts temperature over 7 hours for comfortable sleeping. Fan speed reduces to minimum for quiet operation. Saves energy.

Special Functions Explained

Turbo Function

Maximum cooling/heating power for 30 minutes to quickly reach desired temperature, then returns to previous settings.

Eco Function

Optimizes compressor and fan operation to reduce energy consumption by up to 30% while maintaining comfort.

Swing Function

Automatically moves air louvers up/down or left/right to distribute air evenly throughout the room.

Timer Function

Program the unit to turn on or off at specific times (1-24 hours in advance). Perfect for pre-cooling/heating before you arrive home.

Self-Clean

Available on select models. Dries the indoor unit's heat exchanger to prevent mold and mildew growth.

I-Feel

Remote control senses temperature at its location and adjusts operation accordingly for personalized comfort.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Remote not working Dead batteries, blocked signal, too far away Replace batteries, ensure clear line of sight, move within 6 meters
AC doesn't respond to remote Signal interference, wrong mode, unit power off Remove obstacles, check AC power, point remote directly at receiver
Buttons not responding Battery corrosion, button damage, remote defect Clean battery contacts, check for physical damage, try reset
Display dim or blank Low batteries, backlight off, display failure Replace batteries, press Display button, check in dark room
Wrong temperature displayed Remote sensing error, calibration needed Place remote away from heat/cold sources, reset remote
Short battery life Old batteries, buttons stuck, frequent use Use quality alkaline batteries, ensure buttons not pressed in storage
