Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Level
  • Tape measure
  • Drill with bits
  • Adjustable wrench

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a sturdy window that can support the unit's weight, preferably near an electrical outlet.
  2. Prepare Window Area: Clean the window sill and ensure it's level. Remove any obstacles or debris.
  3. Install Mounting Brackets: Secure the mounting brackets to the window sill according to the provided template.
  4. Place Air Conditioner: Carefully lift and place the unit onto the mounting brackets with assistance.
  5. Secure Unit: Extend the side panels and secure them to the window frame using the provided screws.
  6. Seal Gaps: Apply weather stripping around the unit to prevent air leaks and improve efficiency.
  7. Electrical Connection: Plug into a dedicated 115V, 15A grounded outlet. Do not use extension cords.
  8. Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test all functions including cooling, fan speeds, and thermostat.
Warning: Installation should be performed by two adults. Ensure proper support to prevent falling. All electrical connections must comply with local codes.

Troubleshooting
