Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a sturdy window that can support the unit's weight, preferably near an electrical outlet.
- Prepare Window Area: Clean the window sill and ensure it's level. Remove any obstacles or debris.
- Install Mounting Brackets: Secure the mounting brackets to the window sill according to the provided template.
- Place Air Conditioner: Carefully lift and place the unit onto the mounting brackets with assistance.
- Secure Unit: Extend the side panels and secure them to the window frame using the provided screws.
- Seal Gaps: Apply weather stripping around the unit to prevent air leaks and improve efficiency.
- Electrical Connection: Plug into a dedicated 115V, 15A grounded outlet. Do not use extension cords.
- Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test all functions including cooling, fan speeds, and thermostat.
