Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select an exterior wall location with proper structural support, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
- Prepare Wall Opening: Cut a precise opening in the wall according to the unit's dimensions, ensuring proper clearance from studs.
- Install Wall Sleeve: Secure the wall sleeve in the opening using mounting brackets and ensure it's level and properly sealed.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a dedicated 230V, 50Hz circuit with proper grounding. Follow local electrical codes.
- Install Unit: Slide the air conditioner unit into the wall sleeve and secure it with mounting screws.
- Seal and Insulate: Apply weatherproof sealant around the exterior and interior to prevent air leaks and water infiltration.
- Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test all functions including cooling, fan speeds, and thermostat operation.
