Wall Mount Cooling System

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Wall saw or reciprocating saw
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Drill with masonry bits
  • Tape measure
  • Caulking gun
  • Stud finder

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select an exterior wall location with proper structural support, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  2. Prepare Wall Opening: Cut a precise opening in the wall according to the unit's dimensions, ensuring proper clearance from studs.
  3. Install Wall Sleeve: Secure the wall sleeve in the opening using mounting brackets and ensure it's level and properly sealed.
  4. Electrical Connection: Connect to a dedicated 230V, 50Hz circuit with proper grounding. Follow local electrical codes.
  5. Install Unit: Slide the air conditioner unit into the wall sleeve and secure it with mounting screws.
  6. Seal and Insulate: Apply weatherproof sealant around the exterior and interior to prevent air leaks and water infiltration.
  7. Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test all functions including cooling, fan speeds, and thermostat operation.
Warning: Through-the-wall installation requires professional expertise. Improper installation can cause structural damage, water leaks, and void warranty coverage.
